The best place for your kiosk unit will be in an area where their is a high amount of walk through traffic. It should be in a place where new users are most likely to stumble upon them and it should be easily accessible to existing clients.

The safety of your prospective users should be your main consideration. The environment in which your kiosk is located should be safe enough to allow the user to feel secure enough to use the facility without fear of his/her safety. If a prospective user does not feel safe in the environment where the kiosk is placed, it is unlikely that he/she will stop to use the kiosk. Placing the kiosk in a safe environment will also reduce the risk of vandalism.

The kiosk should be located in a highly visible area with sufficient signage to draw the attention of prospective users. The front of the store is often the best place for your kiosk.

Kiosks should also be placed in locations where their is sufficient lighting to ensure that the kiosk is highly visible to passersby and users. If possible the kiosk should be placed in a wide open space that creates a user friendly environment.
