Functions Overview
SiteKiosk is fully configurable. It allows you to adjust
and set your public access terminal to your precise needs.
The Basicversion contains all the functionality you will
need to operate a safe and tamper-free terminal. Additional
functions are available in the form of [Plug-Ins]!

Freely designable Start Page/Home Page
Secure automatic logon/logout (when terminal is not in use)
via dial-up connection (Modem/ISDN) (Screenshot) or LAN
Printing Web pages (Screenshot) directly from the terminal;
paid printing can be configured securely using the Payment
Bundle.
Create and send E-Mails in Rich Text Format with the integrated
E-Mail client

Logout button protects user privacy by erasing user's surfing
activities after session has ended (cookies, history, and
temporary Internet files)

Security features:

System-critical key combinations such as Ctrl-Alt-Del can
be blocked for all operating systems, especially during
bootup
You can load SiteKiosk instead of the Windows shell to prevent
users from accessing the operating system during bootup
If the system is booted in safe mode, SiteKiosk will automatically
perform a reboot
CD-ROM door access can be prevented
Destructive script functions on Web pages will be detected
and neutralized.
You can optionally allow or prevent the download and saving
of files from the Internet
Each dialog box (Screenshot) can be blocked individually
After several unauthorized attempts to manipulate the system,
the terminal will be switched to tilt mode (Screenshot),
blocking all entries for 30 seconds
Accessing the system is only possible by entering your individual
Password
Maintenance functions:
You can automatically shutdown SiteKiosk at specific times
and/or have SiteKiosk perform an automatic reboot
When the terminal is not in use, SiteKiosk can automatically
clear the history and erase all cookies and temporary Internet
files
System surveillance (Software Watchdog) monitors the state
of the software and will restart SiteKiosk should it encounter
any problems
A memory manager monitors memory usage
Automatic start functions will automatically launch all
the maintenance tools listed in the registry at startup
Automatic execution of the Windows logon process
Cache/Cookies as well as all temporary Internet files can
be automatically deleted when SiteKiosk is launched or the
terminal is not in use (Logout function)
SiteKiosk Object Model:
Starting with SiteKiosk 5.0 the SiteKiosk Object Model provides
a powerful tool to configure SiteKiosk and control some
of it's functions. The SiteKiosk Object Model can be easily
implemented using Javasript in an HTML file.
